Non-sparking Deep Impact 1-1/2" square drive (Metric) Sockets are 6-point hex sockets specifically created for use with hydraulic torque wrenches in environments that are prone to explosions and fire hazards. These sockets come with extra length to accommodate bolts with exposed threads that are too lengthy for standard sockets. These are also durable and corrosion resistant.

DOs & DONTs
ALWAYS select the correct drive size as it is a measure of capacity.
Select an Impact Socket that exactly fits the nut.
NEVER subject the Spark Resistant Impact Sockets to extreme heat or cold, either during storage, or use.
NEVER use a standard-depth socket when the stud protrusion does not allow it to fully fit over the nut, use Deep Impact Socket instead.
ALWAYS inspect your sockets regularly for any signs of wear or damage. Inspect the female square recess as well as the hex.
NEVER strike the socket, especially when under pressure.
ALWAYS use the Non Sparking Impact and Deep Impact Sockets with the retaining pin and ring to ensure it is fully secured to the hydraulic torque wrench.
