Non-Sparking Drum Cutters are used to cut industrial steel drums that house flammable liquids, non-sparking drum cutters are the perfect tool for the job. These cutters, also known as drum deheader, are designed to safely remove the drumheads of 205-liter or 55-gallon drums while avoiding sparks or other hazards that could ignite the drum's contents.

DOs & DONTs
Select the correct tool size that fit the work piece securely.
NEVER use an extension or cheater bar on the wrench handle. It will break the tool and can cause injury to the operator.
NEVER strike Bung Wrench with a hammer or any other tool.
Drum cutter is only to be used on Cylindrical Metal Drums (Standard drum usually of 210 Ltr capacity). Drum cutter should NOT be used on plastic drums.
This tool must not be used to cut drums which have dent on the side or top as it will lead to improper clamping of the tool on the drum and slippage of tool.
Always re-sharpen blade after cutting drum, proper care needs to be taken to keep blade sharp before cutting drum. Worn out blade or blunt blade leads to excessive load on bolt and eventually shearing of bolt.
Do not tighten the bolt on drum cutter excessively on blade as this will cause stresses in thread area and early failure.
